I have super sensitive skin, so I take careful consideration with any products I put on my face. I hate products that make you feel like you have a ton of make-up on, I like light, natural looking makeup that doesn't cause any breakouts (as everyone does, amirite?).
1. First, I want to share this incredible dermafoliant (exfoliant) - Eminence's Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant with Lactic Acid - I use every night mixed with my cleanser - just your basic Spectro Gel (can't go wrong, seriously). This stuff is super gentle & organic!
2. I prep my skin with Vichy Normaderm before makeup. I've been using this for YEARS, oil-free, paraben free, non-comedogenic & really hydrating.
3. I have a tester of the NARS Pro Prime Light Optimizing Primer (Sephora was sold out!) and it really adds a nice dewy look under your foundation, or for me BB Cream.
4. One of the girls at Sephora introduced me to the Dior Skin Nude BB Cream (I use 001) and I'm literally obsessed. It goes on so natural, evens out your skin tone adding a flawless finish (with sheer to moderate coverage depending on how much you pump out) and doesn't irritate my skin at all! Plus, BB Creams moisturize, smooth, protect & correct, which doesn't hurt. Only downfall is it's only 10 SPF, but the NARS Primer is 15 SPF, so that means 25 SPF total ... right?
5. Next, I apply my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (I use NC20) to any spots that the BB Cream didn't cover - as you can see, I'm running low - but this stuff lasts FOREVER, not exaggerating.
6. Depending on my mood, I'll apply Maybelline's Line Stiletto (most of the time this depends on how many times I pressed snooze that morning ha!).
7. I'm a big fan of Loreal's Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara - really hope it doesn't get discontinued (seems to happen to me a lot :( ). I luckily have been blessed with naturally long, thick lashes but I love the brush on this mascara and that it comes with a primer. The removal process is even better, all you do is put warm water on your lashes and pull the mascara off in tubes, handy right?
8. NARS Bronzer in Laguna is the best bronzer I've ever used.
9. My favourite lip colours as of right now are MAC's Retro Matte Flat Out Fabulous and their Soar Lip Liner which I just use to fill the whole lip (Kylie Jenner inspired of course).
Brushes: Foundation Brush MAC 187, Concealer Brush MAC 217
Next to buy:
I've heard really great things about Benefit's Watt's Up! Highlighter! (although, I will admit I have no idea how to contour)...
